One team from dig-out to finish

We do our own groundworks: excavation and muck-away, sub-bases compacted in layers, drainage, soakaways, kerbs and edgings, then the surface itself. No subcontract chain, and the owner on site. That is why we can guarantee the whole job for 10 years, not just the top layer.

Honest advice between surfaces

Resin for seamless looks and permeability. Block paving for a classic estate finish and easy spot-repairs. Concrete for outright strength on farm and heavy-use drives. Tarmac for long runs on a budget. Gravel for rural character and instant drainage. Boston walks every option through at the quote visit, with real local examples of each, and prices the one that fits, fixed in writing.

Drainage done right

Lincolnshire is flat and wet. Every drive we build considers where the water goes: permeable construction, channel drains at thresholds, eco drains, or a purpose-built soakaway. It is the least glamorous part of the job and the most important.

Questions

Driveways FAQs

Which driveway surface is cheapest?
Gravel, then tarmac, then concrete and block paving, with resin bound at the premium end. The honest comparison depends on your existing base, an overlay-friendly drive changes the maths, which is why we quote in person.
Do you take away the old driveway?
Yes, dig-out, muck-away and disposal are included in the written quote, and we leave the site and the roadway clean. A recent Checkatrade review notes we cleaned both the site and the road before leaving.
Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
Not if the surface is permeable, or drains to a permeable area within the property. We build to SUDS rules as standard, so permission is almost never an issue.
