Some jobs earn a full photo essay. This frontage combined resin stone in Vuba's Moodshadow with a block-paved apron in a three-colour mix, Pesdesta Bracken, Red Brindle and Charcoal, with the blocks supplied through Travis Perkins in Skegness.
All the groundwork was carried out by our own team, working with Everlast on the rubber crumb element of the project. The fifteen-image sequence below runs from the tired original surface through dig-out and base preparation to the finished two-texture frontage.
The design lesson: contrasting materials, done deliberately, lift each other. The dark resin field makes the multi-tone blocks read as a border detail, and the whole frontage looks architect-drawn rather than surfaced.
